CONCEPTUAL PROJECT
Problem : Many people love food or love to cook, some of them just have no time to think about the meal that they want or what recipes they would like to try.Therefore, this project was carried out to build a prototype for recipe recommendation. Additionally, many people find the process of meal planning and grocery shopping to be time-consuming and overwhelming.
In this project my roles included UI design, Prototyping, Wire-framing
Solution: Our recipe delivery app allows users to customize their recipes and select from a range of dietary options, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and nut-free. Users can also browse and contribute their own recipes to the app, creating a dynamic and diverse community of home cooks.
Approach: We focused most of our research on interviews.
Through the development of archetypes, we established that
the main motivators and constraints of cooking and focused
our app on accessibility. We then proceeded to prototype
and test our ideas.
Goals: Research, strategize and design an app that would recommed great recipes for food lovers and allow for those recipes to be delivered straight to their door.
We Lacked understanding in customer wants, needs and expectations.
Challenge: The biggest challenge for this project was navigating the problem space. As the sole designer, the task of “building a design system” sounded so daunting at first compared to how comprehensive and complicated the iOS design system or the Google Material Design system are. I am glad my design hit the bar.
